Our Boatshed

In 2013, the Lake Macquarie Classic Boat Association took out a lease on buildings in Rathmines Memorial Park, at the end of Dorrington Road at Rathmines New South Wales, and established the Lake Macquarie Classic Boatshed, a place where men and women could gather to work on, and build, timber boats.  Workshop 1, the airmens washroom from the World War 11 Catalina Base, sits on the foreshore between the Community Hall and the lake.  Workshop 2 is a retired electrical generator sub-station on Stilling Street Rathmines, 2 minute walk from Workshop 1.
